VanMoof B.V. (hereinafter: VanMoof) is responsible for the processing of your data. For example, VanMoof determines how and which data about you are processed, for what purposes and for how long. Our visiting address is Mauritskade 55, 1092AD, Amsterdam. You can email recruitment@vanmoof.com.
We process your data via the website solely for the purpose of facilitating and analyzing your website visit and providing you with recruitment and selection services, in particular to process your application and communicate with you about it.
When you apply for a job through our Website, we will always collect your name and email address and phone number. Optionally, you can provide us with other details like your personal website, work experience, and the answers to a number of questions we find relevant for the job, e.g. why you want to work for VanMoof, what you are the most proud of, or how you would like to grow and improve yourself. We collect this data on the basis of our legitimate business interests, specifically in order to hire the right person for the job.
We will keep your personal data only for the period necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected or processed, unless we have to keep it for tax or legal reasons. In practice, this means that if you are hired, the information related to your job application will end up in your personnel file. If you are not hired, we will keep your personal data until two years after you’ve been rejected, unless you provide consent for us to keep it for a longer time, e.g. to be included in a talent pool.
We will not share your personal data with third parties unless we have a legal obligation to do so.
You have the right to obtain from us: information about how we process your personal data, as well as a copy of the personal data which we have stored about you. You also have the right to correct, update, shield or delete your personal data in our records, as well as data portability of your personal data to a third party, and to report any misuse of your personal data.
In addition, data is automatically processed for the technical and functional management of our website, to enable the use of our website and to analyse your visit and surfing behaviour. For this purpose we process, for example, your IP address, the pages you visit, the internet browser you use, the previous website you visited, demographic information and the time and duration of your visit to our website. We use cookies for this. See below under the heading "Cookies".
VanMoof has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure that your data is properly secured and processed only for specific purposes. VanMoof has taken into account the processing risks of your data in its security, in particular as a result of loss or unlawful use of your data. VanMoof uses secure servers and firewalls, among other things.
If there has been a data breach (data breach), we must report it to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (AP) within 72 hours of becoming aware of it, unless the data breach is not likely to pose a risk to your rights and freedoms. If it is likely that the data breach will pose a high risk to your rights and freedoms, we are obliged to report the data breach to you.
A data breach occurs if a security incident, such as a hack in our systems, has lost data or if we cannot reasonably exclude unlawful processing of your data.
